If you are having ongoing issues with your roof, or your property is 50+ years old, you may want to think about a roof replacement.
We are extremely competitive with re-roof quotations and use BS5534 graded wood, along with high GSM membrane, ensuring the highest quality products on your roof. Liam will advise on your options for materials (Tiles / slate etc). We will arrange scaffolding and skip hire for you, and you can pay them directly (as we never mark up on additional hires)
Liams preferred choice of flat roof products, is the Cromar range.
GRP Pro – Liam prefers this system to rubber roofing and torch on felt alternatives. This product cannot be penetrated by animals / tree branches etc, and it provides a maintenance free solution that will protect your flat roof for a minimum of 25 years.
If you are not planning on living at your property for the long term, or have a smaller budget, there are other products within the Cromar range which will provide a cheaper way to protect and re-seal your flat roof. We believe that these products are superior to many of the alternatives, and Liam can discuss with you the options for your flat roof, depending on the result that you are looking for, your budget, and the materials currently covering your flat roof.
Fascia’s, soffits and guttering, as well as being aesthetically pleasing, protect your home by helping to keep moisture out and away from the roof. They also protect your home’s exterior from infiltration, rotting, and potential pests. Fascia’s, soffits and bargeboards also support guttering and roof tiles, both of which provide protection to your home, from the elements.
Verge caps – A Dry Verge system is a maintenance free way to help to prevent rainwater from penetrating the roof and causing damage. This is especially important for the roofs verge, which can be particularly vulnerable to water damage.
All of these come in a choice of colours to suit your home, and Liam will advise on the most suitable guttering type for your property.
The roof ridge provides a sound structure that holds both sides of the roof together. Two slopes intersect and are joined by the beam that provides the roof ridge. It also helps rainwater to slide down the roof slopes to prevent water build up.
A dry Ridge system is a maintenance free solution to protecting your ridge. This is because it is mortar free. A Dry Ridge system is typically much more expensive than the mortar alternative, but Liam will be more than happy to provide prices for both options (if suited to the property), as we keep the Dry Ridge Systems extremely competitive on price.
Mortar / Traditional Ridge – Some properties, due to the roof tiles used, are better suited to a mortar ridge. The repair of a ridge, if done properly, involves the removal of the ridge tiles, removal of the old mortar, and then the re-bedding of the ridge tiles with fresh mortar.
For both systems (dependent on the ridge tile condition), there may be the option to keep the existing tiles, or you may choose to replace with new tiles. Liam will advise on your options.
Composite Cladding – Composite cladding is designed and manufactured for durability. This is a low maintenance, lower long term cost solution to adding an additional layer of protection to your property.
Cladding can also be used to simply create an appealing visual finish to your home.
Composite cladding comes in a range of colours and finishes.
Rendering – Provides a protective and decorative layer to the exterior of your property. Liam is an approved K-Rend installer, and this is our chosen product. The product comes in a choice of colours, and comes with a 30 year guarantee.
